Note that we use high-end silk and synthetic plants and flowers.
If you’re after fresh flowers, we can suggest a few good florists.

bespoke
We are creatives at heart, and want to give you exactly what you desire. Set up a meeting with our designers to discuss your event and your vision, and we can start preparing to build it.
Please allow enough time in your planning as this will take longer to get ready than the items already in the catalogue.

Time with the Viennese Masters: A lunch-time piano recital
Erin Hall, Milnerton
6 July 2024
We were privileged to present the works of Beethoven and Schubert performed by Barend van der Westhuizen, whose artistry and interpretation breathe new life into these masterpieces. Accompanying on piano, Chris Cameron-Dow brings a sensitive and nuanced approach, ensuring that every note and phrase enhances the overall musical dialogue. We were also being treated to solo piano by both composers, an original work by Cameron-Dow, the third instalment of “Fantasy”.

Milnerton Playhouse

Live with Ivy is a nostalgic trip that starts in 1950s Nyasaland (now Malawi) before it leaps to London’s West End in the 1980s. The Garrick family has been in the theatre for 200 years, but things are changing, and young Ivy must make a choice between law and the stage. Uncle Rex is drawn back to the theatre by his wily niece. David Scales is directing and playing the part of Uncle Rex, while Jean-Marie Schoots plays Ivy.
The Great Gatsby
The Star Theatre (Former Fugard Theatre, Cape Town)
June 2022
In a bold, original stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, we see 1920s New York through the eyes of Nick Carraway, and we witness the rise and unravelling of the enigmatic Jay Gatsby — a man driven by obsession, illusion, and the pursuit of the American Dream. Lavish parties, forbidden love, and tragic secrets collide in a world where glamour masks decay. With
stylised staging, live jazz, and poetic narration, CTTC reimagines this literary classic as a haunting theatrical experience.
The Secret Garden
The Star Theatre (Former Fugard Theatre, Cape Town)
December 2022
A heartwarming stage adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved novel. When orphaned Mary Lennox is sent to live with her reclusive uncle in Yorkshire, she discovers a locked, neglected garden and a house full of secrets. With the help of new friends — spirited Dickon, kind Martha, and her sickly cousin Colin — Mary brings the garden, and the people around her, back to life. This enchanting production celebrates the healing power of nature, friendship, and hope, brought to life. Produced by Cape Town Theatre Company.
Dracula – A Comedy of Terrors
Milnerton Playhouse
August 2024
This stage production reimagined Bram Stoker’s gothic novel as a fast-paced farce. The story followed Count Dracula’s attempts to spread his undead influence, repeatedly disrupted by a cast of inept heroes, exaggerated villains, and mistaken identities. The play featured rapid costume changes, physical comedy, and satirical dialogue. Performed with minimal sets and a small ensemble in multiple roles, the production emphasised timing and theatricality over horror, and the special effects and lighting were critical to enhance the performances.
